Camino de Santiago: Halfway There

Yesterday we reached the halfway point along the Camino. We are all a bit worn out and a little worse for wear but also proud of ourselves. The Albergue we stayed in was rumored to be an old farm owned by the Knights Templar. It made us all feel a little heroic! We spent the day remembering people we met along the way, some who went home already and others who have walked ahead or rested behind.
We shared unusual and fun photos from the first half of our journey and compared our experiences. For example, where else but in a small village in Spain would you find a taxi being pulled by a dog on the back of a donkey?
