The maps below show my walks from Santo Domingo to Burgos. Day 12 I walked from Santo Domingo to Belorado. Day 13 from Belorado to San Juan de Ortega. Both of these days took me 10 hours each. I pushed too hard and got bad blisters again. (I am a slow learner) Day 14 I took a cab to Burgos since the walk into town is very industrial and traffic-heavy.
Cathy- your posts are how I've started my days this week, and I am thankful for your literal journey, as the end of the year is a journey in and of itself. Continued prayers and thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI imagine your own journey is having a few emotional days as you prepare for the next great adventure. You are in my prayers too
DeleteGlad you are submitting to His will on this. Praying for continued good spirits, beautiful finds along the way and the strength to finish the journey as you are called to do. Love you!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the prayers. I am learning that the Camino is different for everyone and almost all of us have had to adjust along the way and may still be called to adjust. Such is life :)
DeleteCatherine Ellen, I love reading your posts and picturing where you are in the north of Spain. Yes.... Burgos is a large city / province with lots of industry. Take care of those feet! / Susan Bivona
